Enhancing Project Performance: by learning the basics
J.A.G. Associates
Enhancing Project Performance through training, coaching and mentoring.
Overview
Managing your work is everyone’s responsibility.  But when that work gets larger and turns into a “project” and is perhaps linked to other pieces of work in the organization, a more structured approach is required.

Whatever your role in a project, understanding how you fit into the project and what the best practices for managing that project are is critical so that you can be as effective as possible in your contribution to the success of the project.

This course will provide participants with the skills and practice in using a flexible, efficient and logical project management process. This will follow the traditional  project management model:
-Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close-out.

The class will be divided into small groups.  Each group will select a project to apply tools and techniques for gathering and communicating information specific to each step.
