Overview
What exactly is Project Management? Why is it good for the organization? How does a Sponsor contribute to project success? These are the primary questions answered in this course.
This is a high level overview of Project Management designed to create awareness for current and potential project sponsors. Definitions of key project terminology, project process groups and benefits will be discussed. Roles & responsibilities of all key stakeholders throughout a project life cycle and options for project governance structures will also be outlined.
A prime focus is the differentiation between the roles of Project Manager and Project Sponsor. Specific roles & responsibilities for each, during each project life cycle phase will be discussed in detail.
